Maribor, a city beside the Drava River, at the very edge of the Alpine world and the beginnings of the Pannonian world, between Pohorje, Kozjak and Slovenske Gorice, on the border of the Slavic and the Germanic, a restless city that is always bubbling beneath its seemingly sleepy surface. People came and went. They changed the city. Many of them fell in love with it, gave it something of their own, and took a part of it into the world in their hearts. Maribor, a city that sometimes seems a bit rough around the edges, sometimes sleepy, but never grey and boring, a city shaped by various winds and storms over the centuries. Maribor, a city at the crossroads of history.
Participation is free of charge. The walk will be conducted in Slovenian.
