You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition of the Format C collective - My back like a bridge you can cross.
The exhibition My back as a bridge that you can cross is the conclusion of the reading-educational meetings Carefree Art, the starting point of which was Bojana Kunst's monograph "The Life of Art.
Transverse lines of concern", Mask 2021. The processual nature of the reading meetings allowed us to use the joint research of theoretical content as a methodology not only for in-depth reading,
but also for cooperation with each other, with invited guests and also with passers-by.

By finding and adapting different pedagogical forms, we learn and (un)learn to unite and meet each other on a common ground, which leads in the direction of understanding the pressing issues of care, coloniality, precariousness and vulnerability. Based on the title of the music album ANOHNI, the exhibition strives to present artistic practices that base their strength on responsibility and consistency to imagine the world differently despite all the difficulties. While in the reading circle we tried to read carefully and think carefully, the artists will tackle the idea of ​​care through the research of digital infrastructure.

Dina and Vedran Gligo they respond to reading meetings and use modern digital technologies to upgrade the research and educational process. They work through the artistic organization Format C, which works in the field of fine and multimedia artistic creation. The focus of the organization is in the field of new media artistic experiment and non-profit collaborative cultural creativity. Some of the specific activities that the organization has initiated or is involved in are: data bending, multimedia and hypermedia art, digital ecology and large-scale artistic collaborations, conceptualization, initiation, technical implementation and mediation of cultural collaborations and exhibitions, free education and distribution free knowledge. The production and distribution project activities of the Format C program are of a non-profit, multimedia and transdisciplinary collaborative nature and are based on the latest
(co)production strategies of the art world, realized through the distribution of knowledge and material and immaterial resources.
