Main stage / Leona Štuklja square

The main stage of the Lent Festival, after moving the magnificent floating stage from the bay near the Water Tower, found its home on the largest Slovenian square, which was renovated in 2011 and is named after to the famous Slovenian Olympian. The venue offers a rich concert program ter performances of the largest Slovenian folklore festival Folkart  at Maribor's currently largest outdoor venue.

Minoriti - Oder Nova KBM / Auditorium of the Puppet Theater Maribor

The Nova KBM stage in the renovated complex of the Minorite Monastery offers one of the most charming venues, where the programs of Komedia, the famous JazzLent, take place and also the legendary Afters. For the Festival Lent, this venue is like a return home, to the cradle - because since 1993, unforgettable musical, children's and after-party events have been taking place here practically in the middle of the ruins.

Jurčkov - Evening Stage / At the Water Tower

As many as three legends on the pile; named after the Maribor specialty To Juri Lipuš - Jurček, "Director of Lent", in Maribor media house Večer stands next to the Water Tower, which due to the rise of the river level in 1968 raised by as much as 2,6 m and thus saved from ruin and oblivion.

Art camp / City park

Art camp is a festival of creativity, dedicated to the most important people in the world - children and their families, who embrace us in the green arms of Maribor city park pampers with culture, art, science, sports, recreation and entertainment, and also attracts a wide range of those who love creativity, liveliness and nature. The most important and central section of the Art camp is the Oder Triglav, which with its cultural and educational mission and high-quality and non-commercial school, amateur and professional productions rounds off the rich creative program.

The stage at Stara trta / the square at Stara trta

The youngest member of the festival family is located on the banks of the Drava river near Stari trta, in the middle of the promenade renovated in 2023. The program offers an eclectic selection of diverse domestic and international bands, which are appreciated for their energy and originality of creation.

Children's Lent, StandUpLent, Vetrinjc BarCoda / Vetrinjski dvor

The atrium was renovated in 2011 Vetrinjsk dvor, whose beginnings date back to the 13th century and is one of the most important bourgeois houses in Maribor, offers a home to as many as three festival programs. First, it is filled with children's cheers, then volleys and tears of laughter at the StandUpLent stand-up comedy festival, and then the music program of the KUD Coda Society, which has good rock written in their hearts.

Court Tower / Court Tower

Judgment tower with its long history, it is certainly one of the most fascinating venues offered by the Lent Festival since its beginnings. After renovations in 2022 offers an exceptional atmosphere to intimate concerts by various, predominantly Slovenian performers.

Hall of Music Artists / Union Hall

Higround acoustics Union Hall many top domestic and foreign musicians have already convinced themselves, and during the Lent Festival, the stage belongs to younger, perspective creators of classical music, who impress the audience with their creations.

Folk art / Main stage, city streets and squares, and tours around Slovenia

Muninational CIOFF folklore festival Folkart for more than three decades in a row, it has been the venue for displaying the traditional art of the world - and without it, there wouldn't even be a Lent Festival! Folk art is a world in miniature, a colorful palette of countless colors of the world's folk tradition, so it is right that it is presented in many venues, from city streets and squares, to the Main Stage and other places around Slovenia.

Ana Desetnica na Lent / the square at Stara trti, Promenada Lent

The Ana Desetnica street theater festival, which took its first steps at the Lent Festival in the mid-nineties, staged some of its biggest and boldest performances in Maribor performances. As befits a street prankster, she took Shakespeare's saying "the whole world is a stage" completely seriously, which is why she can be found in various locations on the city's streets and squares - this year she will be seen next to the new stage on the square at Stara trta and along the Lent promenade.

KMŠ stage / Maribox terrace

With youthful energy, the most electrifying stage in the organization Club of Maribor students after moving from Dravska Street, he found his home (literally!) on the attractive terrace of Maribox on the banks of the Drava River. On this stage, the best musical groups, whose members are no more than 30 years old, get the opportunity to play at the biggest festival in Slovenia.

Living yards / Krekova ulica 4, Vojašniški trg 6, Glavni trg 7

Living courtyards are the part of the festival program that finds its place in hidden city courtyards instead of crowded streets and squares. They are quiet, intimate, removed from the bustle of the city, but nevertheless full of life, laughter, stories, new acquaintances, dance, music - and invite you to explore! We are proud that they are carefully produced by the House Society! and, in close cooperation with the residents, grew into a year-round program of reviving the hidden corners of the city of Maribor.

StopTrik, Dokudoc / Plant

The hidden garden Obrat gallery on the right bank of the Drava is a magical urban venue where he presents his selection of short animated films StopTrik festival, one of the few festivals in the world dedicated solely to the stop-trick animation technique. A selection of documentary films is also presented at this venue Dokudoc, an important Maribor documentary film festival.
