New (musical) worlds beckon!
At night, when we are almost alone in the city with our thoughts, then the city seems to be telling us something." That's right Midnight man, a chamber musical commissioned by the Maribor Festival, described by the author of the original text Janez Usenik.
Zband that wants to capture the intimate relationship of a person with his city, in our case it is, of course, Maribor, he set to music Leon Firšt. We will go on a premiere night wandering through the city streets with Tilno Artač in Gregor Ravnik.
TWe entrusted Ilno Artač with a story about the power of friendship and courage. Peter and the Wolf, the musical fairy tale by Sergei Sergeevich Prokofiev fascinates young and old. In the composition, which was originally written for a symphony orchestra, but which lives on successfully also in performances by smaller ensembles, each hero is assigned an instrument and a recognizable melody that remains in the memory. This is also why it is an excellent ticket to the world of classical music, and the lovable hero Peter and his friends have taken whole generations of children into it. Together with Artač, young visitors to our festival will now also enter it.
