Gea Pantner Volfand
Gea Pantner Volfand completed her postgraduate studies at the Ljubljana Academy of Music with Mile Kosi. As a soloist, she has performed with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Young Soloists of Ljubljana and other notable ensembles.

She is a recipient of the Škerjanc Award of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet and the Student Prešeren Prize of the Ljubljana Academy of Music, an award that she also received as a member of the Accadémia String Quartet. Gea Pantner Volfand has been a regular member of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra since 2012, and has held the position of solo violist since 2019. She works with all of the Slovenian professional orchestras and regularly performs in chamber ensembles with renowned musicians such as Mate Bekavac, Irena Grafenauer, Boštjan Lipovšek, Andrej Žust and others. She is a former member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra.
