MB banda

The orchestra Mb Banda was founded by Mate Bekavac, originally appearing as the FB Banda at the subscription series of the Franc Bernik Cultural Centre in Domžale, where he brought together like-minded, internationally recognised Slovenian musicians.

Through art, they address topical world issues, such as war and climate change. With bold and fresh interpretations, they break the boundaries of the familiar and convey the listener to unknown territory, as their activities are based on the belief that music carries within itself the possibility of understanding without words.
