Aleksander Čonč graduated from the Maribor Music and Ballet Secondary School, where he studied the clarinet.

He then enrolled at the Maribor Faculty of Education, majoring in music pedagogy, and after two years continued his studies in composition at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, where gained a master’s degree summa cum laude. Since XNUMX, he has been the conductor of the first Slovenian brass orchestra, Brass Band Slovenia, and the choirmaster of the France Marolt- Malečnik Male Choir and the Slava Klavora Male Choir. In XNUMX, he took over the conductor’s baton from Ervin Hartman at the Pošta Maribor Wind Orchestra.
Since 2010, he has been the conductor of the first Slovenian brass orchestra, Brass Band Slovenija, and the conductor of the MoPZ, France Marolt - Malečnik and MoPZ Slava Klavor. In 2019, he took over the conductor's baton from Ervin Hartman at the Pošta Maribor Wind Orchestra.
