Bosko Jovic 

Bosko Jovic received his primary and secondary musical education in Zenica, then moved to Sarajevo, where he graduated from the Sarajevo Academy of Music, first in ethnomusicology (2004), and then in guitar (2006), from which he also obtained a master's degree in 2010 .

The delicacy of the Balkans

Since 2000, he has been teaching at the High School of Music in Sarajevo; his students have already received several awards at competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.

Along with classical music concerts, he also often performs with artists from world music, jazz and pop. For many years, he has been working with the diva of sevdah, Amira Medunjanin, and member of the famous duo 2 Cellos, Stjepan Hauser, and lutenist Edin Karamazov. Since 1994, he has been performing as a soloist of the Zenica Chamber Symphony Orchestra, and has also played several times as a soloist of the String Orchestra 2007 and the Sarajevo Philharmonic. He performs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, the Czech Republic and Croatia, Great Britain, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Montenegro, Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, India and Norway.

He is also active as a studio musician. He played guitar parts for films Twice Born (directed by Sergio Castellito, actors Penelope Cruz, Emile Hirsch and Mira Furlan) and Jasmina (directed by Nedžad Begović, actors Zijah Sokolović, Nada Đurevska). His discography includes several albums (Awakening, 2014; Voyage, 2018; Strings, 2020; Write one love letter, Boško Jović and Mario Rašić, 2022; Trio with Mario Rašić and Mirsad Dalipi, 2024, in Colors.

Since 2013, he has been a promoter of Yamaha brand guitars.
