Film for the 30th Anniversary of the Narodni dom Maribor
The film Za vsakega nekaj (Something for Everyone), directed by Bojan Labović, was created in 2022 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Narodni dom Maribor.
The film offers a deeply personal view of the cultural landscape of Maribor, one that has been actively and significantly shaped by Narodni dom Maribor over the past three decades.

Screenwriter and director Bojan Labović described the film as follows:
"The documentary is not a debate on the eternal questions regarding the role of Narodni dom Maribor and the Lent Festival, nor on what they should or should not be. Used to various perspectives, which often leave questions unanswered, the filmmakers do not attempt to uncover an 'analytical truth' about the mission of an institution that has been part of the city for 30 years - something that each of us might have approached differently, even if we often don’t know how. Nor does the film delve into numbers, lists, or the vast array of data that, while informative, ultimately say little about the emotions - both individual and collective - that are at play. In fact, it tells the story of the remarkable endurance of an institution that has been constantly questioned by various actors in the city regarding its relevance and whether it is truly needed. This ongoing duality between chanson and song, opera and amusement park, stage and playground, reflects the city's struggle between the sacred and the profane, overlooking the true essence of its character as it spreads across various parts of the city and among its diverse identities." As one of the protagonists of the film, Milan Latin - Muso, says: “Because something is not necessarily always bad for everyone.” And as the other protagonists, Jure Ivanušič and Vasko Atanasovski, point out, the Maribor soul transitions from worker to intellectual and from peasant to bourgeois.
